Amiin Ya-Rabbal-'Alamiin!

Welcome to you O Month of Ramadan!

AlhamduliLlah,All Praises be to Allah.
As-Salamu 'alaikum wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuH
we're sorry it might be late, but what the heck..HAPPY FASTING TO YOU ALL! :D
Finally, the month of ramadan has finally arrive and we are still alive to celebrate it.

Why the name 'Ramadan'?The Holy Prophet (divine peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Surely, the month of Ramadan has been named so because it scorches away the sins."

All praises be to You the Lord of universe!

How's your month of ramadan? i hope you guys are doing good with your ibadah.inshaAllah.
Most of the Devil has been tied up and now it's us one on one with our nafs.

InshaAllah we can win this struggle.Amiin.

Every ibadah that we do is mostly for us,except for fasting,it's for Allah.

as stated in hadith qudsi:

Allah said, "Every action of the son of Adam belongs to him except the fast. It is Mine, and I repay him for it. Fasting is a protection. When one of you has a day of fasting, he should then speak neither obscenely nor too loudly; and if someone seeks to curse him or fight with him, let him say, 'I am fasting.' By Him in whose hand is the soul of Muhammad, the smell of the mouth of the one who fasts is more delectable to Allah than the scent of musk. The one who fasts has two joys in which to delight: when he breaks his fast, he rejoices; and when he meets his Lord, he rejoices in his fast."

Also, our teacher told us to call it "the month of ramadan" not just say it as "ramadan..ramadan..".Like,"how have you been doing during this month of ramadan?" not "how have you been doing during ramadan?" since it's important to say it with the month.

and there's three types of fasting:

1st type:They only abstain themselves from eating, drinking and sexual desires.

2nd type:Same as the one above except now they abstain their eyes, hands, legs and other part of the body from sinful act.

while the 3rd type:Like all of them above except now that they are keeping their hearts clean,as in every second thinking about Allah and praising Him.If they think about anything else,it's a sin for them. These are the types for Anbiya [as] and Awliya [qs].

But for us,inshaAllah at least we can try our best to be in the 2nd type.Amiin.
The Holy Prophet (peace be upon him and his progeny) has said: It (Ramadan) is the month, whose beginning is mercy, its middle, forgiveness and its end, emancipation from the fire (of hell).

So for the first 10 days let us try to selawat as many times as we can and berdhikir Yar-Rahman and Yar-Rahim for 100 times every time after we solat sunnah.

And Also The prophet [s] always du'a during this month : Allahumma-rhamna Ya Arhamar-Rahimiin.

And for the second 10 days try to istirghfar for 300 times a day.

And for the last 10 days,O what a blessed nights! Let's do more ibadah during all of this night since one of the night is the most greatest night of all! which is Laylatul-Qadar.Some says that the night falls on odd numbers, but who cares! Let's just celeberate!

Actually there's this du'a that our ustaz read it to us but some how i didn't noted it down.

But here's some sites that have a du'a that you can read:http://www.ezsoftech.com/ramadan/ramadan01-05.asp

also more infos:http://naqshbandi.org/adab/fasting/Ramadan.html

until now,May you guys enjoy your fasting! Also, forgive us if we've make any mistakes to any of you up to now.May Allah Bless you.

wassalam wa rahmatuLlah wa barakatuHu alaik

The 4 primary enemies

(The 4 primary enemies part 1)

Asmlkm wr wb.

BismiLlahir-Ramaanir-Rahiim.

Nafs(self desires),Dunyawiyyah(worldly desires),Shaitan(devil) and Ghurur(ego).
This 4 things if we follow them will make us further and further away from Allah.
Our nafs hates what our hearts and our souls loves and our hearts hates what our nafs loves.

Like if you were to qiyamu-layl (stand in the night) and solah tahajjud (pray tahajud) which we'll have to ruku' and sujud for along period of time, our body will feel tiresome and feel lazy to do it since it's following our nafs.Sometimes during qiyam at the time of sujud ,you can already see that some people are sleeping in that manner.Masha-Allah.(Maybe that person is tired because the night before he/she's working really hard). If our body could make sujud or ruku' or pray all night long, our hearts and souls are jumping with joy because they love it.But if we were to tell a lie,our hearts will beat faster.why?because they are scared, our souls and hearts are afraid because they know that Allah is watching them. They will beat in a tone of AstarghfiruLlah,AstarghfiruLlah,AstargfiruLlah..until we tell the truth or have forgotten about the lie that we made ,will then it finally calms. But our nafs!oh..they love to lie, they feel nothing when they lie. They will make up stories and sometimes says it's a white lie so it's better for that person not knowing it's the truth.

Eg.If a wife cook badly and her husbands taste it,when he was asked "how was it?" by his beloved wife,he can't lie to her how it taste! he needs to tell the truth!but people nowadays says it's a white lie to tell that "it taste good.." .Oh..what a liar! If he says it taste good firstly with the niah of lying and then maybe to make he's wife happy, that's already a sin.But at a certain point,he also couldn't hurt his wife feelings by saying "it taste bad!".So he should try and answer "Masha Allah!it taste great!" firstly not with the niah of lying, but as a du'a, who knows the second time he taste it,it might really be good? Then follow up to win his wife's heart.

Our beloved Prophet [s] never told a lie,not even this white lie or a sunnah lie. There's no such thing as that!people are just making that up to make their nafs and ghurur feel better!

A lie is a lie,but people are afraid to convince that they are lying so they are saying it's a sunnah lie.Why are people using a sunnah as an excuse?!I know that he [s] told us to never hurt any one's feelings but for certain he always reminded us to tell nothing but the truth.

If we follow our nafs, then it will follow the other three;the devil, worldly desires and our ego.
If we were to follow them until the end of our lives, they are bound to drag us to hell.

God(Most Merciful is He) says: "Have you seen the one who chooseth for his god his own lust?" (25:43)
and "He followed his own lust. Therefor his likeness is as the likeness of a dog; if thou attackest him he panteth with his tongue out, and if thou leavest him he panteth with his tongue out" (7:176)
and about the person who controlled the passion of his ego :
God (Most compassionate is He) says: "But as for him who feared to stand before his Lord and restrained his soul from lust, Lo! The garden will be his home" (79:40-41).

Let's detach ourselves from these 4 primary enemies of ours.
Insha-Alalh next time we'll put in more details in this 4 'enemies' of ours. But let's do what our nafs wish not to do and do not do what our nafs wish to do.
Sorry for the mistakes that we have made,we apologise for it.And please inform us if there is.
May Allah forgive our sins and may He make us follow the path of truth, the people of truth and may He make our sha'ban and ramadan a beautiful one!amiin.

wassalam wr wb alaik.

ALLAH Answers

A young man had been to Wednesday Night Class of Quranic Studies.
The Mualim had shared about listening to Allah and obeying Allah through
intuition.
The young man couldn't help but wonder, 'Does Allah still speak to people
through intuition?'
After Lessons, he went out with some friends for coffee and pie and they
discussed the message.
Several different ones talked about how Allah had led them in different
ways and that at the end you'll know it was Allah(SWT) Who has directed
you.
It was about ten o'clock when the young man started driving home.
Sitting in his car, he just began to pray, 'Allah...If you still speak to
people, speak to me. I will listen.
I will do my best to obey.'

As he drove down the main street of his town, he had the strangest thought
to stop and buy a gallon of milk.
He shook his head and said out loud, 'Allah is that you?' He didn't get a
reply and started on toward home.
But again, the thought, buy a gallon of milk came into his head.
'Okay, Allah, in case that is you, I will buy the milk.' It didn't seem
like too hard a test of obedience. He could always use the milk. He
stopped and purchased the gallon of milk and started off toward home.
As he passed Seventh Street , he again felt the urge, 'Turn Down that
street.'
This is crazy he thought, and drove on past the intersection.
Again, he felt that he should turn down Seventh Street ..
At the next intersection, he turned back and headed down Seventh.
Half jokingly, he said out loud, 'Okay, Allah, I will.'

He drove several blocks, when suddenly, he felt like ! he should stop. He
pulled over to the curb and looked around. He was i n a semi-commercial
area of town. It wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst of neighborhoods
either. The businesses were closed and most of the houses looked dark like
the people were already in bed.

Again, he sensed something, 'Go and give the milk to the people in the
house across the street.' The young man looked at the house. It was dark
and it looked like the people were either gone or they were already
asleep. He started to open the door and then sat back in the car seat.

'Allah, this is insane. Those people are asleep and if I wake them up,
they are going to be mad and I will look stupid.' Again, he felt like he
should go and give the milk.
Finally, he opened the door, 'Okay Allah(SWT), if this is you, I will go
to the door and I will give them the milk. If you want me to look like a
crazy person, okay. I want to be obedient. I guess that will count for
something, but if they don't answer right away, I am out of here.'

He walked across the street and rang the bell. He could hear some noise
inside. A man's voice yelled out, 'Who is it? What do you want?' Then the
door opened before the young man could get away.
The man was standing there in his jeans and T-shirt. He looked like he
just got out of bed. He had a strange look on his face and he didn't seem
too happy to have some stranger standing on his doorstep.
'What is it?'
The young man thrust out the gallon of milk, 'Here, I brought this to
you.'

The man took the milk and rushed down a hallway.
Then from down the hall came a woman carrying the milk toward the kitchen.
The man was following her holding a baby. The baby was crying. The man had
tears streaming down his face.

The man began speaking and half crying, 'We were just praying. We had some
big bills thi s month and we ran out of money. We didn't have any milk for
our baby. I was just praying and asking Allah(SWT) to show me how to get
some milk.'
His wife in the kitchen yelled out, 'I ask him to send an Angel with some.
Are you an Angel?'

The young man reached into his wallet and pulled out all the money he had
on him and put in the man's hand. He turned and walked back toward his car
and the tears were streaming down his face.
He knew that Allah (SWT) still answers prayers

Love

As-Salamu 'alaikum wa rahmatuLlahi wa barakatuH.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "You will not believe as long as you do not love one another."

Before Allah created Humans,Earth and all there is in it,He (swt) created two zat which is ruh (soul) and hubb (love) then combine them togather.Love is one of the Most important part in our life,it's the most fundamental thing in life.Without love,Allah would have not created us.Without love,He would not have sent down His beloved messengers [as] to make us remember the Promise that we made with our Lord of Truth.Without love, islam would not have reached us.The blessed prophet [s] spread islam with love,he [s] attracts the people with love, not hatred! But Shaytan and our nafs makes us hate one and another. For what? so we would be their guest in Jahannam of course!Inside every single person's heart there is love! Even Sayyidina Umar [ra],one of the prophet [s] companion, used to hate him [s] until he [ra] wanted to kill our beloved prophet [s].Sayyidina Umar [ra] was feared among most people because of his firmness, strength, strictness and some says his heart was like that of an ice. But,due to the islamic teachings of love, and the power of love from God,he's heart melted when reading the Quran,he fell in love with Allah and His messenger. Now we know him as one of the 4 greatest khulafa' and one who have the strongest iman in islam. This is all due to hubb!

Nowadays, you can see everyone, whether they're young or old, they love one and other. You can see couples mostly everywhere. They love each other very much,If not they wouldn't be with each other. Our parents, they love each other really much,or not we will not have been blessed and born in this beautiful world. But,the person we love will definitely leave us one day, either they passed on to the next life,or they would just fell in love with another person who is better than us.So then, who will love us eternally?Whose love will never perish?Whose love is forever? It is Allah! We know it,but yet again we ignored it.when our spouse or our love ones hurt us,we cried..We complained..But at a time when they make us really happy and makes us feels good, like at the peek of love,we'll go crazy, yes. When we're in love with a person we could go crazy on that person, day and night thinking about him or her.Never ending phone call,we would dance like crazy ,smile like crazy for the person sake. But why when we're saying we love Allah,we're not like that? Why are we not crying for the sins that we have committed? Why are we not crying for His Divine Mercy? Why would we not be insane due to our love towards Him? Why would we not stop remembering Him for even a second? Why would not be thankful for His divine blessings? Why would we not pick up His phone call every seconds that He calls us? Even though we said that we love Him,we never did obey Him.Our love is but a lie!I meant not you guys,i'm really sorry about that,it's just me.Woe onto me who is liar!

When we're in love we would careless concerning what anyone said, they can said what ever they like..Our mind are set only that person alone,we only concern what that person thinks of us.Everytime he or she looks at us,we wanted to show nothing but the best! And now,our Lord is wacthing us not only for a second,a minute or an hour. But He's watching us every single second for 24/7 hours, are we not going to show to Him the best side of us?

Let us not forget remembering Him for even a second.Let us train ourselves by praising Him every time we breath,it might be hard, but if we're used to it inshaAllah we can do it.When you're alone,it means that He is calling you. Will you not pick it up for your Beloved sake?

Let's obey His commands and follow His beloved [s] sunnah so we'll get closer towards Him every single second in our life.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "There are people from the servants of God who are neither prophets nor martyrs, (but) the prophets and martyrs will envy them on the Day of Resurrection. . .They are those who love one another for the spirit of God. . .I swear by God, their faces will glow and they will be (sitting) in (pulpits of) light. They will have no fear (on the day) when the people will have fear, and they will not grieve when the people will grieve." He then recited the verse: "Behold! Verily for the friends of God, there is no fear, nor shall they grieve." (Quran, 10:62) - Sunan of Abu Dawood.

The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "No man loves another for God's sake without his Lord honoring him."

Until now, May Allah wrap us with His Divine love.May He increase our love towards Him.And may He forgive our sins so we could get closer to Him.Amiin.

VERY POWERFUL STORY

Why is Salaat The Only Thing We Can Afford to Delay....?
There were only 15 minutes left before Salat-ul Isha.He quickly made Wudhu and performed Salat-ul Maghrib. While making Tasbih, he again remembered his grandmother and wasembarrassed by how he had prayed. His grandmother prayed with such tranquillity and peace. He began making Dua and went down to make Sajdah and stayed like that fora while. He had been at work all day and was tired, so tired. He awoke abruptly to the sound of noise and shouting. He was sweating profusely. He looked around. It was very crowded. Every direction he looked in was filled with people. Some stood frozen looking around, some were running left and right andsome were on their knees with their heads in their hands just waiting.Pure fear and apprehension filled him as he realized where he was.His heart was about to burst. It was the Day of Judgment. When he was alive, he had heard many things about the questioning on theDay of Judgment, but that seemed so long ago. Could this be something hismind made up? No, the wait and the fear were so great that he could not have imaginedthis. The interrogation was still going on.He began moving frantically from people to people to ask if his name hadbeen called. No one could answer him.All of a sudden his name was called and the crowd split into two and madea passageway for him. Two angels grabbed his arms and led him forward. He walked with unknowing eyes through the crowd. The angels brought him to the centre and left him there. His head was bent down and his whole life was passing in front of hiseyes like a movie. He opened his eyes but saw only another world. The people were all helping others. He saw his father running from one lectureto the other, spending his wealth in the way of Islam. His mother invited guests to their house and one table was being setwhile the other was being cleared. He pleaded his case,'I too was always on this path.I helped others. I spread the word of Allah.I performed my Salah.I fasted in the month of Ramadhan.Whatever Allah ordered us to do, I did.Whatever he ordered us not to do, I did not.'He began to cry and think about how much he loved Allah. He knew that whatever he had done in life would be less than what Allahdeserved and his only protector was Allah He was sweating like neverbefore and was shaking all over. His eyes were fixed on the scale, waiting for the final decision. At last, the decision was made. The two angels with sheets of paper in their hands, turned to the crowd. His legs felt like they were going to collapse. He closed his eyes as they began To read the names of those peoplewho were to enter Jahannam (Hell). His name was read first. He fell on his knees and yelled that this couldn't be,'How could I go to Jahannam (Hell)?I served others all my life,I spread the word of Allah to others'.His eyes had become blurry and he was shaking with sweat. The two angels took him by the arms.As his feet dragged, they went through the crowd and advanced toward theblazing flames of Jahannam (Hell). He was yelling and wondered if there was any person who was going to helphim. He was yelling of all the good deeds he had done, how he had helped hisfather, his fasts, prayers, the Noble Qur'an that he read, he was askingif none of them would help him.The Jahannam angels continued to drag him. They had gotten closer to the Hellfire. He looked back and these were his last pleas.Had not RasulAllah [SAW] said,'How clean would a person be who bathes in a river five times a day,so too does the Salah performed five times cleanse someone of their sins'?He began yelling,'My prayers? My prayers? My prayers.?'The two angels did not stop, and they came to the edge of the abyss ofJahannam. The flames of the fire were burning his face.He looked back one last time, but his eyes were dry of hope and he hadnothing left in him.One of the angels pushed him in.He found himself in the air and falling towards the flames. He had just fallen five or six feet when a hand grabbed him by the armand pulled him back.He lifted his head and saw an old man with a long white beard. He wiped some dust off himself and asked him,'Who are you?'The old man replied,'I am your prayers'.'Why are you so late! I was almost in the Fire! You rescued me at the last minute before I fell in'.The old man smiled and shook his head,'You always performed me at the last minute, did you forget?'At that instant, he blinked and lifted his head from Sajdah. He was in a sweat. He listened to the voices coming from outside. He heard the Adhan for Salat-ul Isha.He got up quickly and went to perform Wudhu.Pass this on to your friends and family... ...Maybe, you can help someone open their eyes. And who knows?May be, this is a good deed that can help you during the day ofjudgement.INSHA-ALLAH
