The Patient Old Man

When passing through a mountain pass, a bedouin (villager) once came across an old man who was blind and who seemed to be afflicted with various ailments all over his body. It was clear that he was wasting away. He was even paralyzed and was constantly forced to remain in a seated position. The Bedouin could clearly hear him say, "All praise is for Allah, Who has kept me safe from ailments with which He has tested many among His creation; and He has indeed preferred me over many among those that He created."

"My brother!" exclaimed the bedouin. "What have you been saved from? By Allah, I think that you have been afflicted with every single kind of ailment!"

"Go away from me," said the old man, as he raised his head. "Do I not still have a tongue with which I can pronounce His Oneness, and with which I can remember Him every single moment? And do I not still have a heart with which I can know Him?"

These words of the old man were enough for the bedouin to repent to Allah for his sins and ask Him for forgiveness.

Remember, there is always someone else who is in more problem than you.

subhanaLlah.

Habib Ali Batu Pahat

Al-Fatihah li almarhum Habib Ali Bin Ja'afar Al-Aydrus

It has been a year and the half passed since the passing of Habib. If you guys notice, this year and last year there's a lot of 'aalims, habaibs have passed away,we are not just saying normal 'aalims or habaibs but the big-big one as in their knowledge are very vast and they are mashhur amongst the people with their incredible akhlaq and karamah.. more than 20 or maybe a lot more..like almarhum Habib Hussein Al-Junied,Shaykh Maqsood al-Hassani,Ustaz Sonhaji,Habib Abdul-Qadir Asseqqaf etc.

it is narrated by Abdullah bin Umar Al-Farooq (r.a) that Allah (s.w.t) will not lift up the knowledge (of Deen) by removing it from the hearts of people, but instead he will lift up (cause the death) of those possessing Deeni knowledge gradually until no 'aalims remains. At such a time people will turn towards the ignorant people in matter pertaining to Deen, seeking fatwa from them. They will issue fatwa without knowledge. They will be deviated and lead others astray.(Mishkaat)

To those who've met Habib Ali,they will know how kind and good his ahklaq is..even though he has passed away, please do visit his grave at Batu Pahat and his sons who lived also around there. He is also known as Wali Hidup that is the living saint. Those who've met him might have know about the karamah that he has and share a lot of stories about him.
The advice of his elder son,Habib Muhammad al-Aydrus:
"3 syarat Hidup( principal for Life) :
1. Jangan terburu-buru(don't let anxiety control you.)
2.Benda yang lepas jangan di kenangkan (forget about the past and concentrate on the present)
3.Pekara yang mustahil jangan dipakai (don't believe in something that is impossible)"

subhanallah..

and an advice from his 4th son,Habib Muhsin al-Aydrus:

and many more.

Let us pray that Allah (s.w.t) will guide us all and shower us with His Hope,Love and Mercy because truly we are in need of it.

wassalam.

Advice from a Sahabah

"If in prayer, take care of your heart;

If eating, take care of your throat;

If in another man’s house, take care of your eyes;

If you are among people, take care of your tongue.

Remember two matters and forget two matters:

Remember Allah (SWT), and death;

Forget any good that you have done to another, and any evil that was done to you by another.

The Lion, Mice, Snake & Honeycomb

Imam Ghazali told story of a man walking in the jungle. A roaring lion ran towards him and the man ran as fast as he could to escape from it. He noticed a well in front of him and he jumped inside hoping to escape from the lion.

As he was falling inside the well, he grabbed onto the rope and saved himself. The man was so relieved but when he looked down he saw a big snake at the bottom of the well. It had its jaws wide open ready to swallow him up.

The man then looked up and saw two mice nibbling at the rope. A black mouse and a white were both chewing into the rope. The scary lion was still prowling outside the well.

The man's heart was pounding as he wondered how he could escape from this. Then he noticed a honeycomb in front of him which had delicious honey dripping from it. He stuck his finger into the honey and put it inside his mouth. It was delicious and for a moment he forgot about the lion, the snake and the two mice chewing at the rope.

Imam Ghazali explained that the lion is like the angel of death which is always looming above us. The snake was like his grave which all humans will face. The black mouse and white mouse were like the day and night which are always nibbling at our life (the rope). The honey was like this dunya which with its momentary sweetness makes us forget the death and the eternal life.

Did You Thank ALLAH (swt) For Your Eyesight?

A blind boy sat on the steps of a building with a hat by his feet. He held up a sign which said: "I am blind, please help." There were only a few coins in the hat.

A man was walking by. He took a few coins from his pocket and dropped them into the hat. He then took the sign, turned it around, and wrote some words. He put the sign back so that everyone who walked by would see the new words.

Soon the hat began to fill up. A lot more people were giving money to the blind boy. That afternoon the man who had changed the sign came to see how things were. The boy recognized his footsteps and asked, "Were you the one who changed my sign this morning? What did you write?"

The man said, "I only wrote the truth. I said what you said but in a different way."

What he had written was: "Today is a beautiful day and I cannot see it."

Do you think the first sign and the second sign were saying the same thing?

Of course both signs told people the boy was blind. But the first sign simply said the boy was blind. The second sign told people they were so lucky that they were not blind. Should we be surprised that the second sign was more effective?

"It is He, Who has created for you (the sense of) hearing (ears), sight (eyes), and hearts (understanding). Little thanks you give." [surah Al-Mu'minun; 78]

On Devil

Aslmk wr wb,

Remember that Allah [swt] never created anything without His wisdom in it. Even the creation of satan there's a wisdom in it.Yeah, we should not follow the devils but we can learn a lot of things from them. One of those things that we can learn from them are that they are Hard workers, they will always try their best to make us lazy, always working hard to make us do sins.. they never take a rest and stop from making us following them into the wrong directions. That ,is one thing that we need to learn from them,we should be hard worker ,we have the support of Allah [swt],so we should work harder in fighting our nafs and them.. we should only follow their examples in that, working hard without getting any payment, always works hard but nothing in return.. We should do everything for the sake of Allah [swt] without wanting anything in return, that is what we called abdullah..Let's pray that Allah [swt] makes us as one of His true and faithful servants, ameen.

The Importance of Masjid Al-Aqsa

Aslmkm wr wb,

i'm just going to show you some videos and slides hoping that you might get the message that i'm trying to send. I hope you can just spent a little of your time and watch these videos.

Conspiracy Of Masjid Al Aqsa "..the enemy who destroyed the Caliphate now have their eyes trained on the Hajj. The Hajj has been performed uninterruptedly since it was established by the Prophet Abraham [as] thousands of years ago.The Hajj continued even when Arabia had embraced idolatry. The enemies of Islam now have as one of their supreme long-term objectives, the termination of the Hajj...the goal of stopping the Hajj is now within the grasp of the enemies of Islam. All that is required for that goal to achieved is that Masjid al-Aqsa be destroyed..."

From the book: The Caliphate,The Hejaz and The Saudi-Wahabi Nation-State
By :Sheikh Imran N. Hosein

I hope we as muslims can spread the syi'ar of our Beloved Prophet [s] and united as one..and stop the violence between our own brothers like shi'a sunni etc, it doesn't matter whether we're sunni, shia',salafi, sufi, tabligh, wahabi or what ever sect we're in, the most important thing is that we believed in ONE God and that is Allah , and we love our Prophet Muhammad [s], don't let the Judeo-Christian alliance break us apart and serparate us from being united. We should not wait until tomorrow to make ourselves a better a person, cause tomorrow might never come ,we should start change ourselves today and become a better muslim and spread the message of Love that Allah has sent us.

w'salam wr wb. sorry for any mistakes that i made and please let us be aware of what is really happening to our ummah now, the one-eyed cult have been trying their best to make the majority of the ummah ghafl that is being heedless of what is going on by brain washing us with musics and entertainment. We should know what is the conditions of our Muslim brothers and sisters are like at Iraq, Palestine,Africa and many more so that we can feel what they are feeling and we'll try our best to help them by any means.

Surah Yaseen

1. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Surely everything has a heart, and the heart of the Qur’an is Yasin. I would love that it be in the heart of every person of my people’[Bazzar]. (S.Muhammad Ali Sabuni, Tafsir-al-SabuniVol.2)

2. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recites Yasin once Allah will record the reward of reciting the Qur’an ten times.’[Maqal, Tirmidhi 2812/A & Dhahabi]

3. It has been reported by Aisha (radiAllahu anha)that the Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said that there is a surah in the Qur’an that intercedes for itsreciter and forgive its listener. Know! It is Surah Yasin. It is called ‘Mu’amma’ in the Torah. It was enquired, what is Mu’amma? The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘it embraces the person with the goodness of this world and removes the dismay of the Hereafter’[Hashiya of Tafsir Jalalalayn , pg 368].

4. The Prophet (SalAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, ‘Whoever recited Surah Yasin in the night seeking Allah’s pleasure, Allah would forgive him’[Ibn Hibban, Darimi 3283/A, Abu Yala, Tabarani, Baihaqi & Ibn Mardawaih]

5. Ma`qil ibn Yasar (Allah be pleased with him) relates that the Messenger of Allah (Allah’s blessings and peace be upon him, his family, companions, andfollowers) said,”Ya Sin is the heart of the Qur’an. No one reads it intending thereby Allah and the Next Abode except that Allah forgives them. Recite it for your deceasedones.” [Related by Ahmad, Abu Dawud, Nasa'i (this wording is his), and Hakim, who deemed it rigorously authenticated (sahih)]

6. Imam Ghazali explained that this is because soundness of faith rests on acknowledging Resurrection and Judgment, and Surat Ya Sin details this in the most emphatic of ways. Imam Fakhr al-Din al-Razi concurred.

7. Imam Tibi explained in his commentary on Mishkat al-Masabih that Surat Ya Sin was called ‘the Heart of the Qur ‘an ‘ because of what it contains of overwhelming proofs, decisive signs, subtle spiritual meanings, eloquent admonition, and stern warnings.

Allah is Most Merciful

“One of the most touching cat stories in early Arabic history relates the tale of the Sufi from Baghdad, Abu Bakr al-Shibli (d. 945) who dies and was seen by one of his friends in a dream. On being asked what ALLAH had done to him, he said that he had been granted admission to Paradise but was asked by the ALLAH if he knew the reason for this blessing. Shibli enumerated all his religious duties – fasting and praying, performing the Pilgrimage and giving alms – but none of these acts of piety had saved him. Finally ALLAH asked him, ‘Do you remember the cold day in Baghdad when it was snowing and you were walking in your coat when you saw a tiny kitten on a wall shivering with cold, and you took it and put it under your warm coat? For the sake of this kitten We have forgiven you.’”

Make Doa for our ummah

Once Moosa (AS) asked Allah Ta’ala: O Allah! You have granted me the honor and privilege of talking to you directly, Have you given this privilege to any other person? Allah Ta’ala replied, O!! Moosa during the last period I am going to send an ummat, who will be the Ummat of Mohammed (SAW) with dry lips, parched tongues, emaciated body with eyes sunken deep into their sockets, with livers dry and stomachs suffering the pangs of hunger- will call out to me (in dua) they will be much closer to me than you O Moosa! while you speak to me there are 70000 veils between you and me but at the time of iftaar there will not be a single veil between me and the fasting Ummati of Mohammed (SAW) O!! Moosa I have taken upon myself the responsibility that at the time of iftaar I will never refuse the dua of a fasting person!

Insha’Allah Ramadan will be here in only two days, this is an excellent time to make lots of dua’a for those in East Africa. Sometimes we forget the power of dua’a that Allah swt grants us so lets not lose this opportunity during this blessed month to make dua’a for those who need it most. Allah swt accepts the dua’a of a fasting person and what is a better way to increase our closeness to Allah by making dua’a for an absent brother/sister in Islam?

‘Abdullah ibn ‘Amr reported that the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said, “The swiftest supplication to be answered is the supplication of someone for another person who is not present.”

SubhanAllah, its so easy to make dua’a, and you increase the blessings of your dua’a when you pray for another, and while you’re fasting? I’m no scholar and I know very little, but doesn’t it seem that the blessings only double when you make dua’a for an absent brother while fasting? Alhamdulillah, how beautiful is that?

So PLEASE make lots of dua’a for those in East Africa, as well as throughout the world. And if it is in your means please donate to help as there is blessing in charity during ramadan as well, insha’Allah. Islamic Relief currently is hosting a campaign to raise donations for East Africa to help with the crisis insha’Allah. Here is the link where you can help: (http://www.islamic-relief.com/Emergencies-And-Appeals/1-63-east-africa-crisis-appeal.aspx)

So, its not too much to ask for a little extra dua’a right? Its the smaller deeds that are done consistently that Allah swt loves, so why not make a little extra dua’a consistently insha’Allah?

Ramadan Mubarak :]

*This is a reminder to myself before anyone else.

Miracles of "Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem"

Bismillahir Rahmanir Raheem

Assalamualaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakaatuhu

It is written in “Futuhush Shaam” and other books of history and also in Tafseer Kabeer that Heraclius (ruler of Rome) wrote to Hadhrat Umar Bin Khattab (May Allah be well pleased with him) that I have been suffering from headache for a very long time, which does not abate even for a moment. You please send some medicine for this.

Hadhrat Umar (May Allah be well pleased with him) sent a cap, which when placed on the head would immediately relieve his headache. When it was removed, the headache would come back on again. Heraclius was very surprised with this and he started searching through the cap. He got a paper on which “Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem” was written (in Arabic script). On this Heraclius said: Sublime is He! What a great name through whose blessings, the Lord granted me cure.

After that, that cap was passed on through his progeny generation after a generation as a blessing, to the point that it reached one of the provinces, which later on came under Islamic rule. When Motasim, the caliph, passed through that area, by chance he started suffering from a serious headache. Then this cap was sent to him and as soon as he placed it on his head, his headache abated. He ordered that the cap be stripped and on doing so, the paper with “Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem” was found.

It is given in Tafseer Kabeer and also books of history that a Zoroastrian came to Hadhrat Khalid Bin Walid (May Allah be well pleased with him) and asked him: Whatever claims you have about Islam and they way you consider your religion to be true, why do believe that your religion is true and if you are true, then show a sign of the trueness of your religion.

On this Hadhrat Khalid Bin Walid (May Allah be well pleased with him) sent for the most potent poison. A box was brought to him, whose smallest piece was also fatal. Hadhrat Khalid (May Allah be well pleased with him) took the whole of it, said “Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem” and ate everything. By the grace of Allah Ta’ala, nothing happened to him. On this, the Zoroastrian said: Indeed! This religion is true.

It has been narrated that the Pharaoh, before claiming godhood, constructed a house and got the blessed name of Allah Ta’ala inscribed on its door. Then he claimed godhood and Prophet Moosa (Peace be upon him) was sent to guide him. How much ever he (Peace be upon him) would try to guide him, the effect would be the reverse. At last Prophet Moses (Peace be upon him) supplicated: O Lord! I have spared no effort in preaching to him and trying to guide him to the right path. However, no results are to be seen. There are no good hopes with him either. The Lord Almighty said: O Moosa (Peace be upon him)! Maybe that your intention is to kill him? But Moosa (Peace be upon him), you are seeing his apostasy and denial and We are seeing the name on his door.

Thus, there are so many benefits and blessings of “Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem” that they are inestimable. Hadhrat Sulaiman (Peace be upon him) ruled over the humans and genies through its blessings and through its blessings, the ark of Prophet Noah (Peace be upon him) was saved from capsizing, that when he had removed the anchor of the ship, he had recited “Bismillahir Rahmannir Raheem”.

When Rasul Allah - Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam went on Isra and Mi'raj and he entered Jannah he Sal Allahu Alayhi wa Sallam saw a Tree called Sidratul al Muntaha (The Furthest-Tree of the Furthest Boundary). The inhabitants of the Furthest-Tree were praising Allah subhanahu wa ta`ala,Their praise was: "Praise be to Allah Who has no end." Their names are the Sarufiyyun, "The secret ones," because they are created from the absolute secret of their Rabb (Lord).

From the trunk of the tree four absolute springs issued, Whose Source was Bismi Allah Al-Rahman Al-Raheem

From Meem of Bismi came MA- The first was a pure, transparent, crystal water;

From Ha of Allah came Halib- the second was a river of white milk;

FromMeem of Rahman-the third was a river of pleasurable, untarnished wine that elevates without abasing;

From Meem of Raheem -the fourth was a river of pure honey mixed with gold

Dinar and Dirham

Aslmkm wr wb,

Abu Bakr ibn Abi Maryam reported that he heard the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, say: "A time is certainly coming over mankind in which there will be nothing [left] which will be of use save a dinar and a dirham."
(The Musnad of Imam Ahmad ibn Hanbal)

defination of Dinar from wiki:
The modern Islamic gold dinar is a bullion gold coin made from 4.25 grams of 22 carat (k) gold (.917).It is separate from the currencies of various states that use the dinar as a denomination.

As we can see,the current money we're using now is the paper money or so called known as the 'representative money' .

Which in defination (from wiki): piece of paper might 'represent' or be a claim on a commodity also, for example gold certificates or silver certificates.

So it said that the 'paper money' represents as a certain amount of gold or silver. So in defination the value of 'paper money' lies outside of the money itself and not within the money in eg. the currencies.

Where else the value of Dinar and Dirham lies in the coins itself and it doesn't get affected by any currencies at all.

We always talk about riba',and we usually thought that riba' is like in eg. you buy a book for $1 and then you sell it for $15.That's the normal riba' we usually see or notice. But the most dangerous riba' of all we didn't even notice it and that is the paper money.

Yes,last time paper money had a connection with a certain amount of Gold or Silver. Now, there is NO value in paper money at all, there is no connection between paper money and Gold or Silver.

The non-muslims is slowly stealing our money away without us noticing and oblivious to it.That's why there's some part of the muslim community in eg. Malaysia, are now starting to notice it and at some part of Malaysia they are using dinar and dirham.

This is the concept of the kafiruns or the Judeo-Christian a.k.a Freemason, to bring the muslim or the whole world down. And to sum it all up,the 'paper money' we're using is in actual fact haram and it is said to be an act of betrayal towards Allah s.w.t and His Beloved Prophet s.a.w.

AstargfiruLlahal-'azhim.

Taken from a book of Dinar and Dirham by Sheikh Imran N.Hosein:

"The final stage of evolution in their monetary system would witness the universal embrace of electronic money, the brightest jewel of their evil monetary crown, which would totally replace today's fraudulent paper currencies.Indeed this final stage has already commenced, and all that the international monetary bandits now need is a world crisis (such as nuclear attack on Iran which has not as yet occured but which is expected at any time) that would result in a total collapse of US dollar and a consequent mass stampede away from paper currencies.."

Now,even some of the non-muslims (around more than 2,000 of them is america) has start to notice this concept and are making a movement to encourage people using gold and silver coins as money.Which all in all has been a sunnah for us and teachings from our Beloved Prophet s.a.w.

And most of us ,as stated in a Hadith, are following the Judeo-Christian alliance and blindly following them into the lizard's hole,as predicted by our Beloved Prophet s.a.w.

And what can we,as small minors with no power, can do?

We can atleast spread the message and support it's movement for now and tell everyone on how dongerous 'paper money' is and how worse 'electronic money' is.. which in reality electronic money is ashshadu haram. As they create money out of no where, just like 'poof'..from $0 in your account to $1,000,000 + to your account. Which to sum it all up a money that doesn't even exist.

That is all i can share for now, and hope there is people out there reading this blog and help us spread this message. shukraan. wassalam.

wallahu a'lam.

and p/s: instead of using money as your save account, use that money and buy dinar and dirham or any gold or silver stuff in eg. ring etc and make that as your account saving for the future,we might not know when will the wall street be bank crupt and there's no longger any value in the paper money..So what's the point in having a cash worth billions of dollar, but no value in it.

DAJJAL-THE ANTI CHRIST

I would like to inform you all of some information I have come across and feel that I must share it with all and hope and pray that we all learn a lesson from this. INSHAALLAH.

You will have heard much about DAJJAL - THE ANTI-CHRIST the Anti-Christ from the Christian and Jewish authorities. But what did The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) say about DAJJAL (The greatest Fitnah (Evil, test)) that will ever befall mankind.

When shall DAJJAL appear? Most of the signs prevalent before the coming of DAJJAL can now be observed. One thing though is for certain, if you are fortunate enough not to witness the Anti-Christ, then your children certainly shall. Before the Anti-Christ shall appear we have been told there shall be a SYSTEM, a DAJJAL- system, that is up and running, that shall await his arrival. This DAJJAL-system, will be the most evil and most corrupt satanic, kaafir force in history.

This system shall promote mass immorality (Homosexuality, Adultery, Fornication), Atheism, Devil-worship, use of USURY, Intoxication, (Alcohol & Drug abuse), Crime, Injustice, Oppression, Fitnah of the Pen (Pornography magazines etc.), cause wars, Famine, Massacres, Rape and suffering on an immeasurable scale.

The DAJJAL-system is of course as we know is FREEMASONRY Every single position in the United Nations, The EEC and every position in the British Parliament is held by people who are Freemasons. Freemasonry has something in the region of 700,000 members in England and Wales, yet the British public hardly know anything about them. Freemasons secretly worship a Devil-God, known as JAHBULON, If you do not believe me (see pages 230-240 of the International best selling book on Freemasonry “The Brotherhood”, by Stephen Knight & “Satanic Voices”, by David M Pidcock).

The Jews, the Christians, the Atheists and Secularist, the Munafiqeen, the whole of Kuffaar shall fall under the banner of the Anti-Christ, against Islam. It may also surprise you to know that all Christian Organizations are Masonic Institutions. About 60% of the Archbishops are Freemasons and secretly practice Devil-worship (see above mentioned books). If you want to know if a church is being used as a Masonic-Temple, then look on the stained glass windows for a Masonic symbol such as ‘a snake and a dagger, or a star of David ‘. If the church is in the shape of a Greek Temple, then it is definitely used for Masonic purposes. In Liverpool, the Roman Catholic cathedral has many Pyramids, Masonic symbols. There may be much fear about DAJJAL, but the final victory has been promised to the Muslims. Whereby every single Jew/Freemason shall be put to death. The whole Earth shall be cleansed of Kuffaar once and for all.

Imraan Bin Hussain (RA) relates that I heard Prophet (SAWS) saying : “That since the birth of Adam (AS) till the advent of Qiyamah (Judgement day), there is no Fitnah (Evil, test) much greater than that of DAJJAL” (MUSLIM).

DAJJAL will emerge from a place between Syria and Iraq, and his emergence will become known when he is in Isfahaan at a place called Judea (Yahudea). He will be of Jewish origin. He will have caused his Jewish parents much distress and pain. The Jews will accept him as ‘ The Messiah’ and become his main followers. He will also have a great number of women followers as well. The entire secular world (Jews/Freemasons, Atheist, Christians, Hindus Etc.) shall unite under the banner of the Anti-Christ against Islam. Islam will be the only force standing between him and the total world domination.

Huzaifah (RA) says, ‘Dajjal will be blind in one eye’. This blind eye will be swollen like a grape : There will be a thick finger-like object in his eye. The letters “KAF”, “FE”, “RE” will be written on his forehead (meaning - Unbeliever). Every Muslim will be able to read these letters whether he is literate or illiterate. He will travel at great speeds by means of a gigantic animal-like a mule.....(MUSLIM & AHMAD).

Note: On the US one Dollar, There is
a Masonic sign implicating DAJJAL, a pyramid with one eye - check it out, if you don’t believe me !! Underneath it which is written ‘ Novus Ordo Seclorum’ -- Translated as:
‘NEW SECRET ORDER’.

Ubaidah Bin Saamit (RA) says, Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) said “ I have explained DAJJAL to you, but I fear that you might not have understood. DAJJAL will be short, and his legs will be crooked. The hair on his head will be extremely twisted...... If you have any doubt regarding DAJJAL, remember that your Sustainer (ALLAH), is not one eyed. (Because DAJJAL will eventually claim to be God himself. His followers shall accept him as such). He will be able to split a person into two and then bring him back life again....(AHMAD).

Narrated Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman: "Subay' ibn Khalid said: I came to Kufah at the time when Tustar was conquered. I took some mules from it. When I entered the mosque (of Kufah), I found there some people of moderate stature, and among them was a man whom you could recognize when you saw him that he was from the people of Hijaz. I asked: Who is he? The people frowned at me and said: Do you not recognize him? This is Hudhayfah ibn al-Yaman, the companion of the Apostle of Allaah (peace_be_upon_him). Then Hudhayfah said: People used to ask the Apostle of Allaah (peace_be_upon_him) about good, and I used to ask him about evil. Then the people stared hard at him. He said: I know the reason why you dislike it. I then asked: Apostle of Allaah, will there be evil as there was before, after this good which Allaah has bestowed on us? He replied: Yes. I asked: Wherein does the protection from it lie? He replied: In the sword. I asked: Apostle of Allaah, what will then happen? He replied: If Allaah has on Earth a caliph who flays your back and takes your property, obey him, otherwise die holding onto the stump of a tree. I asked: What will come next? He replied: Then the Antichrist (Dajjal) will come forth accompanied by a river and fire. He who falls into his fire will certainly receive his reward, and have his load taken off him, but he who falls into his river will have his load retained and his reward taken off him. I then asked: What will come next? He said: The Last Hour will come. (Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 35, Trials and Fierce Battles (Kitab Al-Fitan Wa Al-Malahim), Number 4232)"

Narrated Mu'adh ibn Jabal: "The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: The greatest war, the conquest of Constantinople and the coming forth of the Dajjal (Antichrist) will take place within a period of seven months. (Translation of Sunan Abu- Dawud, Book 37, Battles (Kitab Al-Malahim), Number 4282)"

Narrated Abu Hurayrah: "The Prophet (peace_be_upon_him) said: There is no prophet between me and him, that is, Jesus (peace_be_upon_him). He will descent (to the earth). When you see him, recognise him: a man of medium height, reddish fair, wearing two light yellow garments, looking as if drops were falling down from his head though it will not be wet. He will fight the people for the cause of Islaam. He will break the cross, kill swine, and abolish jizyah. Allaah will perish all religions except Islaam. He will destroy the Antichrist (Dajjal) and will live on the earth for forty years and then he will die. The Muslims will pray over him. (Translation of Sunan Abu-Dawud, Book 37, Battles (Kitab Al-Malahim), Number 4310)"

Huzaifah (RA) also says, He will have with him WATER (Heaven) and FIRE (HELL). In reality his hell shall be heaven and his heaven shall be hell......(MUSLIM). In another Ahaadeeth of Our Prophet (SAWS) has said, that DAJJAL shall not know himself the difference between the two. If you are forced to choose between the two, then choose his fire (Hell), for in reality, it will be cool water, and his water (Heaven), shall be Hell.

Imraan Bin Hussain (RA) says the Prophet (SAWS) said ; ‘Those who hear about DAJJAL should stay far from him. By Allah! A person will approach him thinking him to be a believer, but on seeing his amazing feats, will become his follower’. (ABU DAWOOD).

Note : DAJJAL will have the power to cause Famine, Earth quakes and destruction on a mass scale. Many Muslims will join the ranks of DAJJAL on being afraid of his power. Only those with very strong faith will be able to resist. Remember that once you have joined the Anti-Christ, your soul will be doomed forever in the fire of hell. O Brothers / Sisters please come to the religion of Islam and prepare yourself for the big day. I hope this is of use to you and may Allah guide and protect us, so that we my spread the word of Allah in abundance. Ameen

The Three Sons

Long ago there lived in Israel - it could also have been Egypt, as the tradition is not clear - a mother and her three sons. Her husband had a fatal accident several years ago at the construction site where he worked. As a single mother bringing up her three sons was a heavy burden.

On one day, at the hour of the full noon, she called her three sons to her.

"My beloved sons, I can not give you the life that I want for you, so I have decided that it's better for you to that you seek your own future. I want you to go into the world to find Wisdom, Strength and Beauty. Only when you have found these three things, may you return home."

Obedient as they were, the three inexperienced sons went out into the world, hoping to return home soon.

After three years, the first son returned home.

Before he was allowed into the house, his mother asked him:

"My dear son, what have you discovered on your journey?"

The son replied:

"Dear Mother, I have traveled around the world. I was taught knowledge by learned professors and I sat at the feet of wise masters. I learned that my world is subjective, an illusion, and that I am responsible for everything that happens to me and happens around me. I have learned that it is not only "as above, so below" but also "as within, so without." I know myself because I know that my happiness and the happiness of the people around me is up to me. I have found true happiness. "

His mother looked approvingly and said:

"Son, I am pleased with your answer. You've found Wisdom, but Strength and Beauty are still hidden from your eyes. Go back into the world and come back until you've found them. "

And so the first son went back into the world.

After five years, the second son returned home.

Before he was allowed into the house, his mother asked him:

"My dear son, what have you discovered on your journey?"

The son replied:
"Dear Mother, I have traveled around the world. I was taught knowledge by learned professors and I sat at the feet of wise masters. I know myself and I've learned that it is up to me. But I have also discovered something else that influences my life. Something that rises above me. I have named this power "God", but it's actually so big that its essence can not be captured in mortal words. This Divine Presence is so wonderful and great that I can not help but put my fate in Its hands in the hope that It knows what is best for me. I have found true happiness. "

The mother seemed pleased and said:
"Son, I am pleased with your answer. You have not only found Wisdom, but also Strength through the power of Faith by submitting to a Higher Power and trusting It. But you have not yet discovered Beauty. Go back into the world and come back until you've found it. "

And so, once again the second son went into the world.

After seven years, the third son came home.

Before he was allowed into the house, his mother asked him the question:

"My dear son, what have you discovered on your journey?

The son replied:

"Dear Mother, I have traveled around the world. I was taught knowledge by learned professors and I sat at the feet of wise masters. I know myself and I've learned that it is up to me. I also discovered something else that influences my life. I have named this Divine Presence "God". I submitted myself to God and put my trust in Him. I thought that I had found true happiness.

But after a while I began to doubt. I began to question how God was leading my life. And if He really existed at all. Eventually I rejected him. I fell into a deep depression because my contact with the Divine was gone. I wandered around from place to place in the hope that someone or something could restore my contact with the Divine again. I went back to the teachers, professors and masters, but no one could help me. I thought I had lost everything.

Until I looked deep inside my heart and found that the Divine was not something outside of me but that I am a part of it, perhaps even its origin. The Divine is both subjective and objective, and even bigger and more beautiful than I had always thought. I can now see the Divine in people and in all things around me. My eyes are opened after a long sleep. I finally know where I can find true happiness. "

His mother said:

"Son, I am pleased with your answer. Not only have you found the Wisdom of self-knowledge and the Strength of Faith in the Divine Presence, but you have also discovered the Beauty inside your heart. I'm glad I can take you into my arms again. Welcome home. "

And so - while the clock struck midnight - the widow hugged her returning son, and she knew that her task as a mother was complete.

And maybe you ask yourself what happened to the other two sons. Well, acccording to tradition, the first son married the Queen of Sheba and the second one became a carpenter and got a rebellious son.

Why Do We Read The Qur'an, Even When We Can't Understand A Single Arabic Word?

This is a beautiful story of an old American Muslim who lived on a farm in the mountains of eastern Kentucky with his young grandson. Each morning, Grandpa was up early, sitting at the kitchen table reading his Qur'an. His grandson wanted to be just like him and tried to imitate him in every way he could.

One day, the grandson asked, "Grandpa! I try to read the Qur'an just like you but I don't understand it, and what I do understand I forget as soon as I close the book. What good does reading the Qur'an do?"
The grandfather quietly turned from putting coal in the stove and replied, "Take this coal basket down to the river and bring me a basket of water."

The boy did as he was told, but all the water leaked out before he got back to the house. The grandfather laughed and said, "You have to move a little faster next time," and sent him back to the river with the basket to try again. This time the boy ran faster, but again the basket was empty before he returned home. Out of breath, he told his grandfather that it was impossible to carry water in a basket, and went to get a bucket instead.
The old man said, "I don't want a bucket of water; I want a basket of water. You're just not trying hard enough," and went out the door to watch the boy try again.

At this point, the boy knew it was impossible, but he wanted to show his grandfather that even if he ran as fast as he could, the water would leak out before he get back to the house. The boy again dipped the basket into the river and ran hard, but when he reached his grandfather, the basket was empty again. Out of breath he said, "See Grandpa, it's useless!"

"So you think it is useless?" The old man said, "Look at the basket."
The boy looked at the basket and for the first time, he realized that the basket was different. It had been transformed from a dirty old basket to a clean one, inside and out.
"Son, that's what happens when you read the Qur'an. You might not understand or remember everything, but when you read it, you will be changed, inside and out. That is the work of Allah in our lives."

“Here, I am”

All night, a man called “Allah”

Until his lips were bleeding.

Then the Devil said, “Hey! Mr Gullible!

How comes you’ve been calling all night

And never once heard Allah say, “Here, I am”?

You call out so earnestly and, in reply, what?

I’ll tell you what. Nothing!”

The man suddenly felt empty and abandoned.

Depressed, he threw himself on the ground

And fell into a deep sleep.

In a dream, he met Abraham, who asked,

“Why are you regretting praising Allah?”

The man said, “ I called and called

But Allah never replied, “Here I am.”

Abraham explained, “Allah has said,

“Your calling my name is My reply.

Your longing for Me is My message to you.

All your attempts to reach Me

Are in reality My attempts to reach you.

Your fear and love are a noose to catch Me.

In the silence surrounding every call of “Allah”

Waits a thousand replies of “Here I am.”

SHAITAAN'S TRICKS to misguide you by making you BUSY

Are you Busy? " You be the judge!" ?

Satan says, "We can't keep Muslims from going to Mosque."

Satan says, "We can't keep them from reading their Quran and knowing the truth."

Satan says, "We can't even keep them from forming an intimate relationship with their Allah and his messenger Muhammad (s.a.a.w)."
Satan said, "Once they gain that connection with Allah, our power over them is broken."

Satan says, "So let them go to their Mosques; let them have their covered dish dinners, BUT steal their time, so they don't have time to develop a relationship with Allah SWT and his messenger Muhammad (s.a.a.w)."

Satan says, "Distract them from gaining hold of their Allah and maintaining that vital connection throughout their day!"

Satan says, "Keep them busy in the non-essentials of life and invent innumerable schemes to occupy their minds."

Satan says, "Tempt them to spend, spend, spend, and borrow, borrow, borrow."

Satan says, "Persuade the wives to go to work for long hours and the husbands to work 6-7 days each week, 10-12 hours a day, so they can afford their empty lifestyles

Satan says, "Keep them from spending time with their children."

Satan says, "As their families fragment, soon, their homes will offer no escape from the pressures of work!"

Satan says, "Over-stimulate their minds so that they cannot hear that still, small voice."

Satan says, "Entice them to play the radio or cassette player whenever they drive." "To keep the TV, VCR, CDs and their PCs( Facebook ) going constantly in their home and see to it that every store and restaurant in the world plays music constantly." ... "This will jam their minds and break that union with Allah and his messenger Muhammad (s.a.a.w)."

Satan says, "Fill the coffee tables with magazines and newspapers."

Satan says, "Pound their minds with the news 24 hours a day."

Satan says, "Invade their driving moments with billboards."

Satan says, "Flood their mailboxes with junk mail, mail order catalogs, sweepstakes, and every kind of newsletter and promotional offering free products, services and false hopes."

Satan says, "Keep skinny, beautiful models on the magazines and TV so their husbands will believe that outward beauty is what's important, and they'll become dissatisfied with their wives."

Satan says, "Keep the wives too tired to love their husbands at night." ... Give them headaches too!

Satan says, "If they don't give their husbands the love they need, they will begin to look elsewhere." ... "That will fragment their families quickly!"

Satan says, "Give them story books to distract them from teaching their children the real meaning of Salat."

Satan says, "Keep them too busy to go out in nature and reflect on Allah's creation. Send them to amusement parks, sporting events, plays, concerts, and movies instead. "Keep them busy, busy, busy!"

Satan says, "And when they meet for spiritual fellowship, involve them in gossip and small talk so that they leave with troubled consciences."

Satan says, "Crowd their lives with so many good causes they have no time to seek power from Allah."

Worship without Charity Is Unacceptable to Allah

One day the Lord asked Jibrail " Oh Jibrail, had I made you a human being, how would you have worshipped Me?" " Oh Lord , cried the angel , "all secrets are open to You!" "Yes indeed" said the Lord, " but let My servants be aware that they do not know what I know." Jibrail then went on to say "I would worship your Divine essence in three ways: First by helping those in poverty. Second by covering up the guilt of sinners. Thirdly by quenching the thirst of the thirsty." The Exalted One said "It is because I knew this about you, that I made you My trusted agent for the transmission of my Revelations."

Advices on relationship with others

“Those who want to see women as playthings in the hands of dissolute men are traitors. Women should not be tricked, they shouldn’t imagine that their station in life calls for them to come out into the streets dressed up and made up with no veil and scantily dressed. This is not the role of a woman; this is the role of a doll.”

-Imam Khomeini (ra)

"Do not waste your life on any person made of dust
Sacrifice your youth for the One who gave you youth"

- Maulana Muhammad Akhtar Saheb

"Do not look at a man’s prayers nor his fasts,
rather, measure him by how well he deals with others,
the compassion he shows his fellow man,
his wisdom and his integrity."

-Umar ibn al Khattab (radhi’alla anhu)

"Allah’s Messenger (SAW) said, “Shall I not point out to you a person whom the Fire is forbidden to touch and who is forbidden to the Fire? He is the one who makes things easy for the relatives."

Narrated by: Anas bin Malik (R.A) Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, "Do not hate one another, and do not be jealous of one another, and do not desert each other, and O, ALLAH's worshipers! Be brothers. Lo! It is not permissible for any Muslim to desert (not talk to) his brother (Muslim) for more than three days."

THINGS IN YOUR LIFE

‎"When things in your life seem almost too much to handle, when 24 hours in a day are not enough, remember the mayonnaise jar...and the coffee..."

‎"A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him. When the class began, wordlessly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with golf balls.

He then asked the students if ...the jar was full. They agreed that it was. So the professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured them into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.

The professor next picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous "yes.

The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

"Now," said the professor, as the laughter subsided, "I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things, your religion, family, your children, your health, your friends, and your favorite passions things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.

The pebbles are the other things that matter like your job, your house, and your car. The sand is everything else the small stuff.

"If you put the sand into the jar first," he continued, "there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls. The same goes for life. If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, you will never have room for the things that are important. Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness. Play with your children. Take care of the golf balls first, the things that really matter. Set your priorities. The rest is just sand."

One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented.

The professor smiled. "I'm glad you asked. It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend."

The Purity of a Muslimah

A non-Muslim guy: why do your girls cover up their hair & body?
*Muslim guy smiled and got two candies, one covered and the other not and threw them into the dusty floor*
Muslim guy
: If you were to choose one of them, which one would you choose?
non-Muslim guy replied: The covered one.
Muslim guy: And that's how we treat & see our women.

A quote from Muhammad Ali to his daughter: “Hana, everything that Allah (SWT) made valuable in the world is covered and hard to get to. Where do you find diamonds? Deep down in the ground covered and protected. Where do you find pearls? Deep down at the bottom of the ocean covered up and protected in a beautiful shell. Where do you find gold? Way down in the mine, covered over with layers and layers of rock. You’ve got to work hard to get to them.”

Women are honoured.

Women are honoured to carry themselves the greatest secret - that of human life.

Jalaluddin Rumi wrote:

The Prophet, to whose speech the whole world was enslaved,
Used to say, “Speak to me, O Aisha!”
The Prophet said that women dominate men of intellect
and Possessors of hearts,
but ignorant men dominate women,
for they are shackled by the ferocity of animals.
They have no kindness, gentleness, or love,
Since animality dominates their nature.
Love and kindness are human attributes,
Anger and sensuality belong to the animal.
She is not your “Sweetheart” – She is the radiance of God!

What better example of a women is there than the daughter of the
Prophet (s.a.w), Fatimah az-Zahrah (r.a)? When she saw that her father was
constantly saying, “O my Community,” she wanted to do something herself
for the benefit of this Community. when God ordered the Prophet (s.a.w) to find
a husband for his daughter, the Prophet (s.a.w) called all the Companions
without discrimination and said to them, “God has ordered me to say that
whoever recites the Quran from beginning to end tonight may marry my
daughter Fatimah, if she consents.”

That night, all the Companions tried to recite the Quran from
beginning to end. All stayed at the mosque trying to finish except Ali ibn
Abi Talib (r.a) who went home and slept. Everyone, including the blessed
Prophet (s.a.w) assembled in the mosque when Bilal (r.a) recited the call for the
dawn prayer. After performing the dawn prayer, Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w)
asked, who finished the Quran last night so that I can marry him to my
daughter Fatimah?” No one was able to answer, because it is very difficult
to finish the thirty parts of the Quran in only seven or eight hours.

Ali ibn Abi Talib (r.a) said, “O Messenger of God, I finished reciting the
Quran last night.”

The other Companions looked at him and said, “How is it that you
finished the Quran? You slept all night.”

He said, “No, I completed Quran from beginning to end.”

The Prophet (s.a.w) said to Ali (r.a) “Who is your witness?”

Ali (r.a) said, “God is my witness and you, O Prophet (s.a.w), are my witness
that I completed it. O Messenger of God, I recited the following: “There is no
God but God, Muhammad is the Messenger of God” three times; “I seek the
forgiveness of God” seventy times; the Opening Chapter once; the Chapter
of Sincerity three times; the Chapter of the Dawn once; then the Chapter of
Humanity once; There is no god but God” ten times ; and ten times “Peace
and the blessings of God be upon Muhammad and his family.”

The Prophet (s.a.w) said, “As God bears witness, I also bear witness that Ali
has completed the Quran.” If you recite what he recited, it is equivalent to
having completed the Quran.”

The Prophet (s.a.w) asked Fatimah (r.a), “o Fatimah, do you accept Ali as
your husband?”

She said, “On one condition.”

All the Companions looked at Ali (r.a), at Fatimah (r.a), and at the Prophet
(s.a.w). the Prophet’s face changed as he wondered why Fatimah (r.a) said this?
What could the condition be? The angel Gabriel (a.s) came and told him, “O
Prophet, do not make a quick decision concerning her. God is telling you to
ask her what her condition is.”

The Prophet (s.a.w) said, “O Fatimah, what is your condition?”

She said, “The condition does not concern Ali, but it is related to me. If
that condition is fulfilled, I will accept. If not, I will never accept to marry
Ali.”

Again, the angel Gabriel (a.s) came to the Prophet (s.a.w) saying, “God is
ordering you to ask her what her condition is.” Now look at what God had
put into her heart and consider the benefit and station of women in
spirituality.

The Prophet (s.a.w) said, “O Fatimah, what is your condition?”

She said, “I hear you continuously, day and night, praying for your
Community. You say “O my Lord! Give me permission to lead my
Community to you! Forgive them! Purify them! Take away their sins,
difficulties and burdens!” I hear you, and know how much you suffer for
your Community. I know from what you have said that when you pass
away, you will still be saying, “My Community!” before your Lord, in your
grave, and on the Judgement Day.

My father, I see you suffering so much for your Community. Since
that love of your Community is also in my heart, I want your Community as
my dowry. If you accept, I will marry Ali.”

She asked for all of the Prophet’s Community, everyone without
discrimination. What was the Prophet (s.a.w) going to say? It was not in his hand
to give such a dowry. He waited for Gabriel (a.s), but Gabriel did not come quickly. He kept him waiting for some time, then came and said,
“God sends you His greetings and accepts Fatimah’s request. He gives her what
she asked for her dowry to marry Ali,” the Prophet (s.a.w) immediately stood
up and performed two rakats of prostrations of thankfulness to his Lord.

Fatimah (r.a) was only concerned for the salvation of the Community of
the Prophet (s.a.w). No one is going to be outside of her dowry because if God
removes one person from the dowry, it will be as if her marriage to Ali (r.a)
had been invalid. Therefore, she is going to take the entire Community
under her wing and they shall enter with her into Paradise.

This is from the power of one Muslim woman. She will take everyone with her into
Paradise.

What about other such women in islam? What will their power be?
What about saints? What about prophets? God has created human beings
pure. He keeps them pure with such power as that of the Prophet (s.a.w), Abu
Bakr (r.a) Umar (r.a) Uthman (r.a), Ali (r.a), and especially our grandmother,
Fatimah az-Zahrah (r.a).
May God guide us and all seekers in the Way of Divine Love and the
Divine Presence.

Sometimes I felt tired of acting in front of others, then again the world is just a stage and there's only 5% of the people in this world that are living a truthful life..

Ways to increase our IMAAN

LISTED BELOW ARE WAYS TO INCREASE OUR IMAAN:
=========================================================

Recite and ponder on the meanings of the Quran. Tranquility then descends and our hearts become soft. To get optimum
benefit, remind yourself that Allah is speaking to you. People are

described in different categories in the Quran; think of which

one you find yourself in.

Realize the greatness of Allah. Everything is under His control. There are signs in everything we see that points us to His greatness.
Everything happens according to His permission. Allah keeps track and

looks after everything, even a black ant on a black rock on a black moonless

night.

Make an effort to gain knowledge, for at least the basic things in daily life e.g. how to make wudu properly. Know the meanings behind
Allah's names and attributes. People who have taqwa are those who have

knowledge.

Attend gatherings where Allah is remembered. In such gatherings we are surrounded by angels.
We have to increase our good deeds. One good deed leads to another good
deed. Allah will make the way easy for someone who gives charity and

also make it easy for him or her to do good deeds. Good deeds must be

done

continuously, not in spurts.

We must fear the miserable end to our lives; the remembrance of death is the destroyer of pleasures.
Remember the different levels of akhirah, for instance when we are put in our graves, when we are judged, whether we will be in paradise or
hell.

Make dua, realize that we need Allah. Be humble. Don't covet material things in this life.
Our love for Subhana Wa Ta'Ala must be shown in actions. We must hope Allah will accept our prayers, and be in constant fear that we do
wrong. At night before going to sleep, we must think about what good we

did during that day.

Realize the effects of sins and disobedience- one's imaan is increased with good deeds and our imaan is decreased by bad deeds. Everything
that happens is because Allah wanted it. When calamity befalls us-

it is also from Allah. It is a direct result of our disobedience to

Allah

Allahumma Solli wa Sallim 'ala Sayidina Muhammad

"Jibrail (As) once said, “Allah gave me the knowledge to count every leaf on Earth, every fish in the sea, every star in the sky and every particle of sand on earth. But, there is only one thing I can’t count.” The Prophet (SAWS) asked, “What is that?” Jibrail (AS) replied, “When one of your Ummah recites durood or send his salaam to you, the blessing of Allah showers upon him and it becomes impossible for me to count."

A story about a marriage meeting in Islam

Once there was a very handsome, pious, well educated young man, whose parents emphasized for him to get married. They had seen so many marriage proposals, and he had turned them all down. The parents thought it was becoming a little ridiculous or suspected that he may have someone else in mind.

However every time the parents left the girls house, the young man would always say “she’s not the one!” The young man only wanted a girl who was religious and practicing. (Which was hard to find). However one evening his mother arranged for him, to meet a girl, who was religious and practicing.

On that evening, the young man and girl were left to talk and ask each other question (as one would expect). The young man, being a gentleman that, he was allowed, young lady to ask first.

Young girl asked the young man so many questions. She asked about his life, his education, his friends, his family, his habits, his hobbies, his lifestyle, his enjoyment, his time pass, his experiences, his shoe size and his likes and dislikes. Basically everything!

And the young man replied to all of her questions, without tiring and politely with a smile. Young girl took up nearly all of the time, over an hour and felt bad and asked the young man do you have any questions?

Young man said, yes, only have 3 questions…

Young girl thought, wow, only 3 questions okay, go ahead and shoot.

Young man’s first question was, (1) Who do you love the most in the world, someone who’s love nothing would ever overcome? She said, this is an easy question! Answer to your question is my mother.

Young man smiled and asked second question, (2) You said that you read a lot of Qur’an, could you tell me which Surahs you know the meaning of? Hearing this she went red and embarrassed and said I do not know the meaning of any yet, but I am hoping to soon Inshallah I have just been a bit busy.

The third question the young man asked, was (3) I have been approached for my hand in marriage, by girls that are lot more prettier than you, why should I marry you? Hearing this, the young girl was outraged, she stormed off to her parents with fury and said I do not want to marry this man he is insulting my beauty and intelligence.

And the young man and his parents were once again, left without an agreement of marriage. This time, the young man’s parents were really angry and said what did you do to anger that young girl, the family was so nice and pleasant, and they were religious like you wanted. What did you ask the girl? Tell us!

Young man said, firstly I asked her, who do you love the most? She said, her mother. The parents said so, what is wrong with that?

Young man said, “no one, is Muslim, until he loves Allah (SWT) and his Messenger more than anyone else in the world.” If a woman loves Allah (SWT) and Holy Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) more than anyone, she will love me and respect me and stay faithful to me, because of that love and fear for Allah (SWT). And we can share this love, because this love is greater than lust for beauty.

Young man said, then I asked, you read a lot of Holy Qur’an, can you tell me the meaning of any Surah? And she said no. because I haven’t had time yet. So I remembered the saying of Imam Shafi’i, “All humans are dead except those who have knowledge … And all those who have knowledge are asleep, except those who do good deeds .. And those who do good are deceived, except those who are sincere … And those who are sincere are always in a state of worry (for others).”

She has lived 20 years on this earth and not found any time, to seek knowledge, why would I marry a woman, who does not know her rights and responsibilities and what will she teach my children, except how to be negligent, because the woman is the Madrasah (school) and the best of teachers. And a woman, who has no time for Allah (SWT), will not have time for her husband.

The third question I asked her was, that a lot of girls, more prettier than her, had approached me for marriage, why should I choose her? That is why she stormed off, getting angry.

Young man’s parents said that is a horrible thing to say, why would you do such a thing; we are going back there to apologize. Young man said I said this on purpose, to test whether she could control her anger.

Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh) said “Do not get angry, do not get angry, do not get angry” repeatedly when asked how to become pious, because anger is from Satan.

So, the moral of this story is, a marriage is based on: Knowledge not looks, Practice not preaching, Forgiveness not anger, Spiritual love not lust and compromise!

One should look for a person who (1) Has love for Allah (SWT) and his Messenger (2) Has knowledge of the deen (religion), and can act upon it (3) can control her anger and another important and crucial factor that she be (4) willing to compromise.

And it goes both ways, so women seeking a man, should look for the same things.

May Allah (SWT) make every marriage a success and let us create Love for Allah and his Messenger so that Allah (SWT) can bless us, and create love in our lives.

There is no better structure founded in Islam other than marriage. Holy Prophet Muhammad(pbuh)

Allah is Great

God: My servant, pray night prayer which is 11 raka’ats.

Servant: I’m tired, I can’t

God: My servant, pray 2 rakaat shaf’a prayer and 1 rakaat witr prayer

Servant: God it’s difficult for me to get up in the middle of the night.

God: My servant, pray these 3 rakaats before going to bed.

Servant: 3 rakaats is too much

God: My servant, just pray 1 rakaat witr prayer.

Servant: My God, I’m really tired today, is there any other way?

God: My servant, before sleep go make widu and look towards the sky and say “Ya Allah”

Servant: God, when i’m in bed if I get up I can’t fall asleep anymore.

God: My servant, just while you’re lying down, make tayamum and say “Ya Allah”

Servant: God the weather is really cold. I can’t bring my hands out from under the blanket.

God: My servant, in your heart just say “Ya Allah” and I’ll count that as night prayer for you.

The servant doesn’t pay any heed and goes to bed.

God: My angels look! I was so easy on my servant and he/she is still sleeping. There isn’t much time left until Fajr. Go wake him/her up because I miss them. They haven’t spoken to me.

Angels: God, we woke them up again and they still are asleep.

God: My angels, whisper in his/her ear that your Lord is waiting for you.

Angels: God, they are still not getting up.

God: Recite the morning adhan and tell my servant that your morning prayer will become ghada.

Angels: God why don’t you throw your wrath on them?

God: they don’t have anybody except me. Maybe they will repent …

My servant! When you stand for prayer, I pay so much attention as if I only have one servant on this world … while you stand for prayer, you act as if you have hundreds of gods

I feel soo ashamed of myself yet again i'm very happy for having the most merciful and forgiving God as my guardian.AlhamduliLlah.

Rabi`a's basri ra gifts to Hasan Al-Basri

Once Rabi`a al-Adawiyya sent Hasan Al-Basri three things - a piece of wax, a needle, and a hair.

"Be like wax," she said. "Illumine the world, and yourself burn. Be like a needle, always be working naked. When you have done these two things, a thousand years will be for you as a hair."

"Do you desire for us to get married?" Hasan asked Rabi`a.

"The tie of marriage applies to those who have being," Rabi`a replied. "Here being has disappeared, for I have become naughted to self and exist only through Him. I belong wholly to Him. I live in the shadow of His control. You must ask my hand of Him, not of me."

"How did you find this secret, Rabi`a?" Hasan asked.

"I lost all `found' things in Him," Rabi`a answered.

"How do you know Him?" Hasan inquired.

"You know the `how'; I know the `howless'," Rabi`a said.
